Seminar Description
Grantwriting 101- The Easiest Money for Your Non-Profit
Grants are a key source of support for many nonprofits. A strong grant proposal that is well written, and well-organized, can bring in substantial income for your organization. Learn the keys to successful proposals including how to: research funders, target your proposals, build strong relationships with funders, and write a clear and concise proposal that demonstrates the need for your program and makes a compelling case for support. Jeff Katz is a consultant and former Executive Director over 25 years of experience writing grants. He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses on the subject at Northeastern University and other schools. Jeff has a Masters Degree in social work as well as a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Harvard. In addition to fundraising, Jeff has published op-eds in the Washington Post, Boston Globe, and many other newspapers. He currently writes a blog about child welfare for the Huffington Post.
This event is free and open to all nonprofit organizations and individuals interested in the nonprofit sector. Coffee shall be served.
