Seminar Description
Business planning is an essential tool to guide actions and acquire resources for all social-impact organizations, yet many such organizations either don’t have formal business plans or end up with plans that fall short of the mark. In this interactive session, Larry Chait will explain why business planning is so important, who should be involved, and the essential elements of such plans.
Larry Chait is the Managing Director of Chait and Associates, Inc., and a Senior Consultant at Root Cause, Inc.,a nonprofit research and consulting firm dedicated to mobilizing the nonprofit, public, and business sectors to work together in a new social impact market.
Larry advises for-profit and nonprofit senior managers and their teams on achieving and sustaining high performance. His focus is on business planning, process improvement, and executive and team coaching. Larry spent over two decades at Arthur D. Little, Inc., where he was vice president and chief knowledge officer.
