Come to Meet the Funders
Have you ever wondered how to make the best case for your cause in a way that will make foundations want to give you money? This Nonprofit Net seminar will give you an opportunity for hear the funders point of view and to ask questions about what funders look for when reviewing your proposal. Our panel represents different types of funders from corporate to community foundations. They will give their perspectives on the important features they look for in proposals, the types of programs they fund and how the current economic situation is impacting their funding.
We are fortunate to have as our panelist Andrea Martinez, Program Coordinator at The Boston Foundation; Carol Lavoie Schuster, Program Manager at the Associated Grant Makers of Massachusetts; David Welbourn, President & CEO of Essex County Community Foundation; and Nora Bloch, Vice President, Community Development lending at Wainwright Bank. The panel will be moderated by Julia Satti Cosentino, partner in charge of nonprofit practice at Nutter McClennen and Fish, LLP. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to meet the funders. This event is free and open to all nonprofit organizations and individuals interested in the nonprofit sector. Coffee shall be served.
